Council Proceedings January 9,2006

The Whiting City Council met in regular session January 9,2006

in the Council chambers with Mayor Marr presiding.

Council present: Ewing, Jones, Mattingly, Haack

Absent: Bock

Minutes of previous meeting approved as mailed.

Council voted to wait on housing development plans until a later

date.

Skip to send old locator in for an estimate on repairing it.

Motion by Ewing second by Jones to raise 3 Library employees

salary by $.30 per hour starting July first 2006. Carried

Motion by Mattingly second by Ewing to approve library budget

for 06-07 FY as amended. Carried

Motion by Mattingly second by Jones to have Russell Collison

work on Saturday nights only and be on call as needed, and raise

his pay to $11.00 per hour starting July 1,2006. Carried

Motion by Ewing second by Mattingly to raise Karen Handeland

salary to $10.00 per hour starting July 1,2006. Carried

Motion by Ewing second by Jones to raise Skip West, Jeff

Johnson and Shirley Richardsons salaries by $500.00 per year

starting July 1,2006 and to put Shirley Richardson on hourly

salary of 15.93 per hour. Carried

Motion by Jones second by Mattingly to raise Leslie George

salary by $.30 per hour starting July 1,2006. Carried.

Motion by Mattingly second by Ewing to accept City budget

for 06-07 FY as amended. Carried

Motion by Ewing second by Mattingly to allow bills. Carried
