The Whiting city council met in regular session February 6,2006

7:00 P.M. with Mayor Marr presiding.

Council present: Haack, Mattingly, Jones,    Bock

Absent: Ewing

Minutes of previous meeting approved as mailed.

Bob Haack to contact Loretta Anderson about location of park

bench purchased in memory of Donnie and Mary Anderson.

Skip to remove defusers from decorative street lights in one

city block to see what effect it will have on the lighting.

Skip to get bids for putting water meters in houses that do

not have one.

Motion by Mattingly second by Jones to have Skip purchase new

chain saw of his choice. Carried

Skip to get estimates from Layne Western on having one pump a

year tested and repaired at water plant.

Motion by Mattingly second by Jones to allow bills. Carried

Meeting adjourned by Mayor Marr.
