COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS


SEPTEMBER 22, 2008


The Whiting City Council met in special session Monday, September 22, 2008 at 5:00 PM in the council chambers.  Mayor Tom Marr called the meeting to order at 5:00 PM with roll call, council members Kepner, Pope and Sarrazin were present with Bird and Haack absent.

Mayor Marr opened the Public Hearing on sell of tract 5  in the Easton Addition at 5:01 PM.  With no oral or written objections, Kepner motioned to close the Public Hearing and Sarrazin seconded with roll call vote, all in favor.  Public Hearing closed at 5:03 PM.

Motion by Pope and seconded by Sarrazin to approve RESOLUTION NO. 2008-04, RESOLUTION APPROVING PROPOSAL TO SELL LOTS FOUR (4) THROUGH THIRTEEN (13) OF BLOCK THIRTY-TWO (32) OF EASTON ADDITION TO THE TOWN OF WHITING, MONONA COUNTY, IOWA OR PORTIONS THEREOF.  Motion carried.

Council discussed putting for sale and sold signs at the Easton Addition site.

With no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 5:15 PM,
