It’s strange how many guys own both an RG500 and a TL1000S. Coincidence?

All I know is, Suzuki was looking for blood with both of these bikes.

The RG500 Gamma is a butt-kicking, explosive, wheelying animal with a lightweight chassis, often savage bahavior, and will not suffer fools or idiots lightly. It destroyed its competition and was banned from the WSB arena after it immediately became obvious that it would kick butt there, too. Even tho 22 years old, its combo of light weight and brutal delivery is still stunning.

The TL1000S is a 460 Lb sledgehammer with a hard-hitting torque curve, a tendency to tankslap, and a decided affinity for accelerating on one wheel and consuming pointy sportbikes. Labelled as a ‘killer bike’ by the press, it was immediately recalled, and hobbled.

Of course, I had to modify both.
