Mic Check Is this blog still on? Has it been a year already? My apologies for the long outage, but perhaps you will agree that it was time well spent when the bun comes out of the oven on Nov. 5th. Real work excuse aside, I was unhappy with my directionless writing. I have several posts that I never published because they were simply "day of stuff" accounts--boring and worse, meaningless. (I may just publish them in their raw state just to show you what I mean.) Blogging philosophy is all over the place, but I believe that a blog should accurately offer insight into the writer. Anyone can recount a days' events, but what do those events mean? Only the writer can say. And to that end, I seek to improve my writing. I've updated the link list on the right and you'll notice there is a link to my public calendar. Yes, I'll be on much needed holiday soon and there will be plenty of subjects to cover.
