Puntarenas, Costa Rica

In this lovely central-american port we took the Tropical Forest Aerial Tram, which afforded lovely views of plants and animals. Our tour guide was excellent.

They must have a shallow beach at Puntarenas ...
... because the deep water pier is VERY long, and narrow.
Puntarenas is a small little town on the west coast of Costa Rica.

The Tropical Forest Aerial Tram is a very nice operation.
It's a 50 minute ride up the mountain-side, and a 50 minute ride back down.
Along the way we saw lots of water falls...
... trees and plants.
We also keep our eyes open for animals.
The views were amazing.
So were the Toucans.

Our guide was very informative.
We even saw some white-faced apes! ;)
Just like a ride at Disney Land!

Our guide not only conducted us on the tram, he also led us on a 45 minute ...
... ground tour of the surrounding gardens.
