Zaandam Tour 2 - Public Rooms A

The Zaandam has many lovely rooms. Here's the Atrium, with it's central organ, the Casino, the Crows Nest, the Explorer's Lounge, the Library, Cardroom, and Internet Spot.

In the center of the ship we find the 3-deck tall Atrium ....
... and "the Organ."
This is a working musical instrument ....
... but, I'm sorry, I think it's UGLY.
If it were made of polish wood and brass pipes it would be lovely.
Ah ... the Casino ... a great place to dump one's money.
Nice place to play blackjack. Sadly, the only way to not lose is to not play!
Nice bar with a big TV to watch sports.
Order a drink in the Casino, it comes from here.
The Zaandam has many lovely pieces of art.
One of my favorite places aboard HAL ships is the Crows Nest.

Lovely views ...
for daytime gazing.
In the evening it's a great place to dance the night a way.
On most nights, after midnight, you can find me right here.
In the day you can find me back here. It's the smoking section ...
... but it's quiet and comfortable.
I love classical music, and one of the best places to hear some on a HAL ship ..
.... is the Explorer's Lounge.

In the Explorer's Lounge you can hear wonderful chamber music.
On the Zaandam's Panama Canal Cruise the classical music was provided ...
... most evenings after dinner by the Atlantic Strings trio.

Outside the Library on the Zaandam you'll find some lovely art.
After 2000 days aboard HAL ship's they do THIS to you!!!!!! (hehehe)

This is a lovely room where passengers play cards and dominos. Bridge anyone??
The internet spot.
The Library ...
... one of my favorite rooms to sit and read ...
... or wait for the yum-yum man to ring the chimes for dinner.
