Puerto Vallarta

In Puerto Vallarta I did the inexpensive Overview tour of the city, which included shopping and an excellent tour of the Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

The Streets of Puerto Vallarta.
Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, located in downtown Puerto Vallarta.
Often billed as a "Cathedral Church," in truth it's NOT a Cathedral because ...
... there's no Bishop in residence. Still ... it's a VERY lovely, big Church.
With a very imposing High Altar.
And another tall, uncomfortable looking pulpit.

The Blessed Virgin Mary appearing to St. Bernadette Soubirous at Lourdes.
Shopping along the bay shore drive is excellent.
Lots of bars ....
... LOTS of bars ... my brother would love this place.
There are lots of places to eat and get drunk ... a tourist's dream.
And a nice beach, too.
Along the streets of Puerto Vallarta one will find many metal art figures ...
of various styles and designs. They're all VERY interesting.
Some of these statues are VERY strange ...
... and others are even stranger.

Some look like Aliens.

In the distance, the Oosterdam sits at Anchor in Puerto Vallarta bay.
