The ms Oosterdam

The Holland America Line's ms Oosterdam is a lovely ship and, while stacked high with verandah cabins, she nevertheless still looks more like a "ship" than like an Hotel.

Note the tenders have been lowered and are in operation.
Circling around the bow of the Oosterdam.
The Oosterdam is the largest ship I have ever sailed aboard.
And, yet, she doesn't "feel" like a huge ship. It does take a while ...
... to walk from the front to the aft of the ship!
Tenders pull up to the water-level pier, which close as the side pocket-doors.

A floating Apartment Building was hogging the ship pier at Puerto Vallarta.
