Tiberias

Tiberias is a town on the western shore of the Sea of Galilee. It was named in honour of the Roman emperor Tiberius. We used this as our base for 2 days while touring Galilee.

The view of the Sea of Galilee from the hotel was lovely. The town, which hugged the banks, was also very nice. At night the city glowed with energy and activity. Morning in Tiberias, waiting for the Sun to rise, was stunning in its beauty. My room in the Sheraton Tiberias Hotel was very nice, indeed.
