Listen to Her
Voice, Women in the Hebrew Bible.
Wednesday nights there will be an Adult
Education series on Women in the Hebrew Bible. The classes will
begin with readings from Listen
To Her Voice by
Miki Raver. The book, as well as the books listed in the annotated
bibliography will be available for use during class.
In preparation for class, please read the passages in the Bible
that are listed in the Class Schedule. Bring a Bible to class, any
Bible that you have. If you don't own one, we will be discussing
the various bibles currently available in print at the first class
and you can then decide which bible you will want to
use.
We'll study the text and then read
interpretations, adaptations, and background stories about the
characters. The annotated bibliography can be found on the Adult
Ed. Files page linked above and on the sidebar.
