Dad spent thousands of hours working on the genealogy for his family and my mother's family. He could talk for hours about the subject. He and mom traveled over much of the eastern US looking for data to put into his books. He developed good relationships all over the country because of his interest in this subject.

I don't know what caused him to take such an interest in his family, but starting in 1988 it was a passion in his life. By the time the internet really took off, dad was in the early stages of the cancer that eventually killed him. He would have loved to communicate and share this information over the internet.

The purpose of this website is to make available as much of the information in his books as possible. The family's of David Byers,William Byers and William Byers' etchings have been completed. There are also books for John and Sarah Byers, Robert and Margaret Byers and John and Elizabeth Byers.
