Statement of Faith

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three
persons: God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin
birth, and in His bodily resurrection.

We believe the Bible to be the inspired and infallible Word
of God.

We believe in salvation by grace through faith in the Lord
Jesus Christ.

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence
of speaking in other tongues as a subsequent gift to salvation.

We believe in the provision of bodily healing in the atoning
work of Jesus our Savior.

We believe in the return of the Lord Jesus Christ and the
resurrection of both the saved and unsaved, the saved unto
eternal life, living eternally in the presence of God, and the
unsaved unto damnation without further opportunity of
repentance.
Praise Chapel Christian Fellowship was founded by Pastor Mike & Donna Neville in Maywood California in 1976.
Praise Chapel is a Family of Fellowships of Churches and Ministries Internationally. Linked together through relationships that have come out of local churches with a vision to evangelize the lost, disciple the believers and multiply through Church Planting. Win-Build-Send clearly states our purpose. 
In May of 1975, Pastor Michael Neville and his family came to South East Los Angeles to assume the pastorate of a small church. At first the transition was rough for the existing, “well-established” congregation and this “bold” new pastor and his young family. The neighborhood had changed from a middle-class “white” area to a predominately Latino community. It was Pastor Mike’s conviction that the church should “reflect” its neighborhood. This caused an immediate ‘exodus’ of members who were not comfortable with change. However, God graciously rewarded Pastor Neville’s vision with souls! The church was soon filled with people of different nationalities. The church had truly become a reflection of the multi-cultural face of Los Angeles. Many young gang members gave their lives to Christ and a sovereign wave of revival swept through the community.
Pastor Neville began to “disciple” these young converts and soon began to see the church stretching out beyond the four walls of the local church. God began to deal with him about planting pioneer churches and in 1980 the first “baby church” was planted in Ontario, California. Since that time, over 200 churches have been planted across the United States and worldwide.
Today Praise Chapel Family of Fellowships has multiplied into many areas of the United States and the world. What started with one church, became a Fellowship of churches and now has multiplied into a "Family of Fellowships" all over the world.
Every two years Praise Chapel Family of Fellowships joins together for a World Bible Conference. Along with this World Conference, the various Fellowship that have now been raise-up also have Conferences in many areas in the United States and other Countries.
Praise Chapel is an on going and growing story as new churches are being planted continually and fellowships of churches continue to develop and increase. It is a Book of Acts story being written today. 

Praise Chapel has planting hundreds churches around the world and continues to do so. The method is simple, win a soul, build a disciple and release into ministry. This method has seen many, who were once lost, rise up and with time answer the call to pastor. We believe God can use anyone with a willing heart to preach the gospel to the lost. God called men like Peter, who was a fisherman, a man like Thomas, who was tax collector, and He entrusted them with evangelizing the world with the good news. God still does this today. He is not looking for well educated individuals but willing hearts.

Many couples and individual have left the comfort of there lives and began churches if different cities, states and even nations. It has not been an easy venture for many but time has proved that it was all worth the sacrifice as the fruits of there labor began to come forth. God has done a tremendous work in this fellowship and He continues to raise up individuals who have a stirring and desire to begin a work for God despite the sacrifice. Is our passion wealth, bigger buildings, greater fame. No. Our passion is souls. Pure and simple. We believe the heart of God is souls. Jesus said to the Apostle Peter, "if you love Me then feed my sheep". The sweetest offering we could pour out on Jesus is a heart broken for the nations. We are excited to see what God will do as we continue on with the call of going and making disciples of all the nations.
