Hey everybody! This week we have pictures of the basic things...train stations blah blah blah. The person who took this was Olatz ma's colleague. She's smaller than all of us, but very funny. She would always make this dish, and she said the name so fast. One second you're waiting for the name the next second -whoosh-she's already said it 10 times.
On Saturday we went to a place called Skagen (north most part of Denmark) and it was crazy windy! But it was good. Ma, Olatz, and a fellow proffesor colleague of theirs came, her name was Louise and she is from Minnesota, then there was me. We wanted to go all the way to the tip but we would have to walk about an hour and since we missed our first bus -OPPS! we had only 2 hours. So instead like a normal person would do, we ate ice cream. smart, right? instead of buring calories we gained them. And then in Skagen everything closes at like 3:00 pm! So every store was closed, therefore our bank accounts didn't get damaged.
On our way back to Aalborg, we got down at Frederikshavn to join Janeen (the AAU international coordinator) and her husaband Jens for a wonderful dinner. Jens cooked up a storm - we had different types of wine, delicious food, and scrumptious dessert - we had to waddle our way back to the railway station - nah, just kidding! :) We also met a German couple who spend their summers at Jens' and Janeen's summer house. [ma's bit, i thought id keep it cause she was mad with me that i changed everything else].
