Nathaniel Reichman is a music producer and mixing engineer specializing in contemporary classical music and music for television. He has assisted composers Philip Glass, Ahrin Mishan, John Luther Adams, and Michael Small in the studio and the performance hall. His musical sound design can be heard in Glass' score to Godfrey Reggio's latest film, Naqoyqatsi, released by Miramax. He has mixed, edited and produced many of John Luther Adams' classical recordings, and regularly does editing and mastering for music publisher Boosey & Hawkes. For television, he has collaborated with Nick Balaban, and together they've composed and produced the music for the new PBS show Word World. Mr. Reichman was also the music mixer and editor for Whoopi Goldberg's show, Whoopi, and continues to be a producer and editor for many of 4Kids Entertainment's shows, including Chaotic, One Piece, The Winx Club, Cubix, Shaman King, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Kirby. As an associate director of the Electronic Music Foundation, he contributed to the development of the Engine 27 performance space. Mr. Reichman is a graduate of Bennington College, an alumnus of Fabrica (an experimental media school in Italy), and was an assistant teacher at Les Ateliers UPIC in Paris.
