 SpeedChimera enhances Chimera by allowing you to accelerate navigation (using HTTP pipelining) and enable/modify many other hidden preferences in Chimera. Unlike some other tools, SpeedChimera applies your modifications such that they stay, and continually keeps the preferences updated, regardless of whether or not you download new versions of Chimera.

For advanced users, SpeedChimera also offers you the option of seeing the current preferences and tweaking certain defaults, editing current preferences, or adding new user preferences.

With SpeedChimera you can:
  • Enhance speed with HTTP pipelining
  • Disable blinking text
  • Block certain images
  • Turn off auto-complete
  • Enable the marquee tag
  • Show history in the side bar
  • Restrict minimum font size
  • Modify tab focusing
  • Configure image animation
  • Act as another browser to servers
  • And more!

SpeedChimera works with Chimera 0.6 on Mac OS X 10.1.4 or higher.
