Homeless and Hungry?

A couple weeks ago I went out to the car while Sarah was finishing in a store.  On my way out, a man came up to me saying he was homeless and asked for money or food.  I told him sorry, but I had none (a small lie; I had only a couple dollars in cash), and he said thanks anyway.  I got in the car and then remembered that I had a sandwich bag of Rice Crispies in the back seat.  Since my chances of eating them where small, I decided to give them to the homeless man.  I got out of the car, walked over to him, and offered him my bag of cereal.  To my surprise, he turned my food down, saying that he couldn't eat it because he didn't have any milk or sugar.

So much for hungry.
