I changed my mind
So I changed my mind on the rant issue. I don't
really think that I do have anything to rant about knitting-wise, really. I
just forgot for a little bit that one of the things I like about knitting is
that people are generally pretty nice to each other, and it's just my hobby
anyway. That's a good thing. I'd like to say thanks to the folks at Lettuce
who reminded me of that today. It was really nice to just sit and knit with you
all for a couple of hours. So yeah, I don't think that I need a place to rant
about knitting.
Last night I was
watching this mini-series called Category 6, and it was so awful that I couldn't
turn the channel. The premise is that three major storm systems collide over
Chicago and cause a hurricane. Pffffft. Ridiculous. Surely it wouldn't have
been that hard to scrape something together that actually had a decent
scientific premise. Oh well. I'll probably watch a bit of the second part
anyway. :)
For some reason my blog
software is being stubborn about uploading pictures. I don't have time to
figure out what's going on right now. I'll fix it up (I hope) when I actually
have some progress pictures to upload. I cast on for the back of the Monk's
Satchel, which means that when I finish that I'll have enough pieces to make a
bag, although I won't have all of the pieces done.
