New Patterns!

Yes! The winter Knitty is up ... as of today, I think, but I'm not too sure. I would imagine that most of you out there already know that it's up, unless of course like me your mail program has decided to start filing all of your knitting related lists into the junk mail box. Seriously, I don't get what's up with my mail program ... it lets through stuff with some pretty disgusting content, but when I checked the junk box this morning, there was the knittyreader mail plus quite a few of my knitlist and sock knitalong digests.

The patterns in this issue are, of course, great. The one that really jumps out at me and that I know I'm going to make is the tea cosy one, though. Is that crazy? There are at least 5 lovely sweater type things in this issue, but I want to make a tea cosy! I was going to knit the cosy from Stitch n' Bitch Nation, and I probably still will, but I must admit that I like this new one from Knitty a bit better. You see, I like to drink more than one cup of tea in a day, and hence I make a pot, but invariably it's all gone cold by the time I get to it, so I clearly need a cosy. And I've got all these kind of spare skeins of Kureyon hanging around, so it's like a match made in heaven. I wish the cosy pattern had come out earlier ... cause then I could have made one for everyone for Christmas.

Anyway, I love the new issue and I'll be looking forward to reading the articles in the next couple of days as well. If you haven't checked it out yet, well why not?
