Let's start with a respected professor at the University of Miami. Not only is he handsome, but he is a mensch too. Go to the University to read about him. It is always nice to have a doctor in the family, but if you want to see him professionally you are in bad shape. What does it say on his white jacket? Enrique Ginzburg, M.D. Here is quote from Enrique about his early days in the United States Enrique Ginzburg: (a surgeon of repute in Miami) "The message of Judaism which influenced all of us was Rabbi Abramowitz's description of Judaism as a deep spiritual force of tradition, culture and behavior that uplifts by singing, dancing, sharing, and reveling in Jewishness. There were no pretenses. This overall philosophy was best exemplified during his wonderful melodious Shabbat services and his confirmation class field trips where the biggest kid, horsing around, was the Rabbi himself." Have
you
ever heard of Bonnie Erbe? I bet many of you have, but did you know
that she is a cousin? Bonnie has
a nationally syndicated show on PBS called To
The Contrary, as well as a newspaper column
that is
published in 400 newspapers
across the country.
Do you need a friend at The University of
Massachusetts in
Amherst ? Our cousin Richard Fein directs the undergraduate placement
office at the University of Massachusetts. His
books about getting a job are both
informative and fun. He also writes from the employers point of view as
in"101
Hiring Mistakes Employers Make and How to Avoid Them."
Richard's mother (my father's twin) was born in Dokshitz, and came to
Newport RI in 1921. Richard grew up in Philadelphia. See the
Baby Boomer's Guide? It's his latest magnum opus. If you are
over
55, it's for you! I am not admitting anything. Alright, I admit
it-almost-but he personally told me I was too young to read it! In this
case, I will let him be the expert.

One
of our most noted celebrities is Ralph Ginzburg. He has been a
photographer, magazine publisher, author.His
recent book of
photographs has received favorable reviews on Amazon. It's on my
coffee table,
and should be on yours too. This book, and all the others mentioned can
be purchased at Amazon.com. Ralph died recently. Here is a
moving obituary
by Nat Hentoff.
Are
you in a hurry? Let Professor Ginz get you there. At 190 MPH,
I
don't think you will be late if cousin Shepherd Ginzburg is driving.
Check out his home page at http://professorginz.com/.
When you check out his home page, you will find that he can
also
provide some music to make the trip more enjoyable. Read the interview

Here is the young lady in her own words: "I am originally from Amherst,
Massachusetts, where I grew up and attended high school. Following my
graduation from high school, I spent a year in Israel on a program
through my youth group. During my year I spent three months on a
kibbutz, three months studying in Jerusalem, and six weeks living and
volunteering in Haifa. After this year in Israel, I studied at the
University of Massachusetts at Amherst for my freshman year. I
transferred to Tufts University in the 2002- 2003 academic year. That
year, I participated in the EPIIC (Education for Public Inquiry and
International Citizenship) program through the Institute for Global
Leadership at Tufts. Currently, I am a senior majoring in Psychology
with a minor in Peace and Justice Studies. Within the major of
psychology, I am particularly interested in the roles that identity and
stereotyping play in intergroup conflict. Outside the realm of
academia, I play for the Tufts women’s Ultimate Frisbee team
and
enjoy dancing with the Tufts Dance Collective."
