Early in 1995, we got a call from Ann saying that she wanted to go to school full time, she had to be a mom and a wife, and she had a day job - so the band had to go. We spent much of early 1995 working out a new version of Tricks. We decided not to look for a replacement for Ann, but instead we would have Krystal get up and sing lead for a third of the songs. Tricks would be a "Power Trio plus". We took the honed down version of Tricks into Steve's basement, and we had to learned almost all new songs.
