The Onion - News parody. "Best newspaper in the country".
It's like the San Francisco Chronicle, except better written and intentionally funny.
It has a bit of liberal bias, but still very funny.

Here is a site that will make you hungry.
(While the TRICKS girls like Steve's beat, the DICK'S girls like Steve's meat.)

Free Market / Voluntaryist / Libertarian / Anarcho-Capitalist Sites -
A genuine anarchist doesn't want to rule anyone, except himself.
"Anarchy doesn't mean what you think it means" Rick says, "anarchy isn't chaos, anarchy isn't violence, anarchy simply means 'no rulers'. Everything that is done by governments can be done much better and much cheaper by free individuals with the freedom to create, trade, and associate peacefully with those they choose".
Rick's occasional Blog - "Rick Doogie Musing" ![]()

An excellent online anarchist magazine. A top favorite of Rick's.
It is slavish devotion to government that ruins order, creativity, prosperity, and morality.
"What is called politics is comparatively something so superficial and inhuman,
that practically I have never fairly recognized that it concerns me at all." ~ Henry David Thoreau

for FEE "In Brief" - interesting e-mail news commentary.
The Foundation for Economic Education (FEE), one of the oldest free-market organizations in the United States, was founded in 1946 by Leonard E. Read to study and advance the freedom philosophy. FEE’s mission is to offer the most consistent case for the “first principles” of freedom: the sanctity of private property, individual liberty, the rule of law, the free market, and the moral superiority of individual choice and responsibility over coercion.
Bassbeast turned Rick onto Dan Carlin. Thanks, Dave! In "Hardcore History" - the very unconventional Dan Carlin takes his "Martian", outside-the-box way of thinking and applies it to the past. This is a difficult-to-classify show that has a rather sharp edge. "Common Sense with Dan Carlin" - is a blend of audio commentary and news analysis by one of the leading thinkers among today's politically independent crowd. Carlin manages to be entertaining and informative in a uniquely non-partisan way.
