Alotta prep before each step.

Alotta glues, Alotta screws,
Alotta rivets to install all new
Aluminum siding. There’s Alotta that too.

Scores of drawers and cabinet doors,
Alotta trips to Home Improvement Stores.
Alotta muscles that were often sore.

Alotta hours, Alotta days,
Working upstairs, or in the bays,
Or underneath, or on the roof,
Or in the spare tire compartment , Oof!
Alotta big spaces, others too small,
In 3 1/2 years, we covered them all.

Alotta this, Alotta that,
Alotta times we cried, “Oh Drat!!”
Allota pride, that’s a fact!

Alotta oak and other wood,
Alotta times saying “We knew we could.”
Alotta comments, “You did darn good!”

And now, at last, our project’s done,
It’s time for travel and Alotta fun!
