True Hampshire Metal!

1983 - 1986

Gigs:
Locally around Guildford, Bordon, Alton, Farnham and Haslemere. UK.

The Marquee, Wardour Street, London supporting Dumpys Rusty Nuts (or DRN), and Wild Horses.

Founded by Dave Glover in the early 1980's, the first (Orion)
line up consisted of:

Neil Thompson - vocals
Alan Stringer - Guitars
Dave Glover - Bass/ vocals
Ray Lawrence - drums

The name and line up was quickly changed (after our first gig!), to Siege and had the following members:

Sharon Thompson - vocals
Alan Stringer - guitars
Dave Glover - bass/ vocals
Ray Lawrence - drums

This line up were together for a few gigs, and after a support for Explorer, Alan Stringer left to be replaced by flying guitarist Les Black. And so it
remained for a while.

Around 1984/5, Dave Glover left to pursue other musical interests, and he was then replaced by Mark Conquer. This was to be the definitive line up until after the Radio 1 sessions for the Friday Night Rock Show in 1986.

After a few more changes to personnel, Siege finally split in the late 1980's.
