Founded by Dave Glover in the early 1980's, the first (Orion) line up consisted of:
Neil Thompson - vocals Alan Stringer - Guitars Dave Glover - Bass/ vocals Ray Lawrence - drums
The name and line up was quickly changed (after our first gig!), to Siege and had the following members:
Sharon Thompson - vocals Alan Stringer - guitars Dave Glover - bass/ vocals Ray Lawrence - drums
This line up were together for a few gigs, and after a support for Explorer, Alan Stringer left to be replaced by flying guitarist Les Black. And so it remained for a while.
Around 1984/5, Dave Glover left to pursue other musical interests, and he was then replaced by Mark Conquer. This was to be the definitive line up until after the Radio 1 sessions for the Friday Night Rock Show in 1986.
After a few more changes to personnel, Siege finally split in the late 1980's. |
