Here rests a batch of ABT's waiting in anticipation of the fiery caress of the Big Green Egg.

The lovely Molly Shark working her magic on the same batch of ABT's

Spring Chicken posing with his delightful creations.

A small virgin Egg is being initiated with three thick strip steaks. Grillmeister is using a low tech alternative to the BBQ Guru to bring the heat up to the 700° range for that high heat sear. The rest of the tribe is observing his technique to make sure he is doing it correctly and chanting cheers of encouregment. Lawn Ranger holds his grill lifter in anticipation for that magic moment when all of the elements come together and the Egg is ready to receive her offering.

The Egg is now willing and Molly Shark makes her move. The final results were delectable.

On another Egg three racks of ribs are beginning their journey to culinary nirvana. The Tibetan Tiger and myself did not stay for the results but I understand that perfection was achieved.
We had a previous engagement at the judging booth where we shared our knowledge of pork rib consumption and appreciation as judges in the "World of Texas BBQ Cookoff". We made our way through 16 different entries of pork ribs and somehow managed to satiate ourselves in the process. We may soon devote ourselves fully to this endeavor following cookoffs from the north to the south and the east to the west in a valiant effort to improve the taste of BBQ throughout the land. Oh the sacrifices we make to help our fellow man improve his lot on this world.

I leave you with a final image of this fine group.
Thanks: Grillmeister, Lawn Ranger, Haywyre, Spring Chicken, Chef Fubar, Molly Shark, and all the rest!
