Musings from the Ninth
Circle of Retail Hell:
The
three most common human fears are death, public speaking,
and working retail. For our hero Larson life as a zombified
politician seems like paradise compared to his day job at a
monolithic chain bookstore.
They say that everyone has their cross to bear and for
Larson that burden comes in the form of rabid J.K. Rowling
fans and Chicken Soup disciples. Join him as he attempts to
find what lies beyond the java junkies and soccer moms of
the world.
The Package:
Gerald Sims was a quiet,
introspective, man who spent the majority of his time
living inside the confines of his own head.
His daily routine from work to his social life was iron
clad and unchanging. Everything from the way he entered his
apartment to the restaurant he ate at every night was
perfectly planned and regimented. This was Gerald’s life
and he had always done his best to keep it as it was.
Which is why when the package arrived at his doorstep he
should have taken it back to the
mailroom.
DPD:
Ever
wonder what life would be like if people always knew your
inner-most feelings? How about knowing what everyone else
was feeling?
For Roy this isn’t a fantasy, just another day at the
office.
Twenty-One:
David
Lumley awoke in a field with a piece of his memory missing.
As he searches to uncover the truth about the lost moments
of his life, he begins to discover more than he bargained
for.
