Karin Hessenberg
Karin makes hand built stoneware garden planters, lanterns and birdbaths which were inspired by visits to India and Nepal. All her garden ceramics are frost proof. Karin has exhibited widely in Britain and abroad and her work is in the collections of a number of museums. Her book "Ceramics for Gardens & Landscapes" (A & C Black) was published in 2000. Originally known for her burnished and sawdust fired porcelain, she is the author of "Sawdust Firing" (Batsford, 1994). Karin is a Fellow of the Craft Potters Association and is listed on the Crafts Council Index.
