Outdoor Ceramics and Sculpture Exhibition
This year's exhibition features the work of two prize winning artists, JONATHAN GARRATT and
REGINA HEINZ, both favoured artists of the gallery.
Jonathan Garratt F.R.S.A, potter and garden designer, has been a popular mainstay
in all our previous garden exhibitions. A recent project was the design of the garden
at the Crafts Study Centre in Farnham. His "Garden Punctuation" installations never
fail to provide a humorous and thought provoking addition to landscapes. This year,
there will also be the opportunity to purchase several of his distinctive planters in
a variety of shapes and sizes.
Regina Heinz will be showing examples of her ceramic wall panels, which are suitable
for both interior or exterior settings. Their undulating clay surfaces are Inspired by
landscape and modernist design and are a unique blend of sculpture and painting. Previous
projects include installations for Broomhill Art Hotel in Devon and Rufford Country Park
in Nottinghamshire. In 2008 she was invited to create work for the International Ceramic
Art Museum in China. Her work is held in museum collections around the world.
