| Palermo Mines Mineral List North Groton, New Hampshire (Closed to the General Public - Exclusive collecting access through owner only!) One of the oldest pegmatite location in New Hampshire, it has a huge history as a mica and feldspar mine for over 120 years. This is the flower of New Hampshire's mineral wealth and the type locality for a number of rare minerals. Well documented since its discovery, even more so since the current owner has taken control. Currently mined as a mineral specimen location, everyone has to visit this premier location once in their life. Closed to the public! The Workshop has been invited to visit here in 2006. The Workshop will have complete access to the new areas of mining and collecting.
