Mica Morgan Nubble Orchard Pit Palermo Mines Scribner Ledge Ski Pike Tamminen Waisanen Maps		Nubble Quarry Mineral List Greenwood, Oxford County, Maine (Open to the General Public.) Not the most exciting quarry in the State of Maine, but well exposed, easy to get to and a good location to study this simple type of pegmatite. Mainly worked initially for feldspar, high quality ruby mica became the most important production from this quarry. Gemstones of beryl and rose, smoky and colorless quartz, some of which star when cut as cabochons, have been recovered.
