Mount Marie Quarry Mineral List
Paris, Oxford County, Maine
(Closed to the General Public - Exclusive collecting access through Poland Mining Camps only!)

The Mount Marie Quarry actually started out as a number of small test pits, where miners were looking for minerals they knew were there. The current mining operations have actually discovered how to approach this pegmatite, with successful recovery of some fabulous new mineral specimens and gemstones. The mineralization can be intense and massive at times and wonderful to see. The work done over the last decade should prove that this quarry is one of the premiere pegmatites in Maine.
