| "It Isn't All Work & Study!" We are taking "Fun" out of it's box and adding it to our Functions! We recognize that the Registrants and Faculty work hard during the week. They need some time to relax and to let their hair done. To bring the group together in the evenings and on the last weekend, we have created some function just for fun.We are planning our evenings on the lighter and informal side! Some involve minerals, some do not! We also plan on keeping some of the evenings free so you all can relax, get to know each other, share war stories, brag about your best minerals or catch up on your sleep! We also try and have some fun during the day, especially on our Field Trips. Seen here is our "Stuff the Graduate Student into a Box" event! Pam Rein has completed the task, stuffing Brian Giller into the box in record time. |
| The After Hours Room at the Pavilion is open 24 hours a day and in the evening a perfect place to meet and talk with friends. A refrigerator located in this room will contain non-alcoholic beverages you can purchase anytime during the week and a fire place can be lit if it's cold. You may also bring your own "special" beverages to this room and stay as long as you want! Those who are not lodging at Poland Mining Camps may also use this room as long as you want into the evening! | ![]() | ||
We are still planning a few functions for the evening hours during the week, so please check this page in the future. | |||
