| Perhamite Specimens from Maine |
| Emmons Quarry, Greenwood, Maine We have found Perhamite specimens in four quarries in Maine to date, with a total of at least 6 localities known. A seventh may have emerged this season - 2004. The majority of specimens are opaque like this one and are rosette to spherical in overall form. This specimen has a small fragment of albite in the center of the front rosette. size = front rosette, 7 mm in diameter | ![]() |
