Only about the size of a mountain, this asteroid passed by Earth at a distance of only about 3 million kilometers on March 30, 2007. Roughly 24 hours before its closest approach, I captured a series of images of the asteroid. The best complete sequence of these images is shown here in animation and composite versions.
