godaddy sucks!

Arrggh! I want to scream. Freakin' idiots.

OK, short story: I went ahead and registered a website domain so I could have it redirect to this site to make things easier to remember earlier in the week with godaddy.com (first mistake).

Arrggh! I want to scream. Freakin' idiots.

OK, short story: I went ahead and registered a website domain so I could have it redirect to this site to make things easier to remember earlier in the week with godaddy.com (first mistake).

A couple of days later, I get emails saying the domain was being pulled. WTF?

I called the company (international long-distance, mind you) and was told it had been pulled because of fraud!

WTF?!
I was told that it was being considered fraud because they couldn't get ahold of me on the telephone. When I said it was because I was out of the US right now, they would have to call internationally.

I was told they couldn't do that and they would forward my issue to the proper department and I'd hear something back via email soon and if I didn't, I could call back during business hours (which happen to be 14 hours different than my current time zone).

So, a few days and no email, nothing. Just dead in the water and this after I set everything up for the new site and informed people and everything.

So, I call and wait 20 minutes before someone answers (again, international long-distance). This twit has no clue and tells me the only way to solve the problem is by email.

I ask what department is handling the matter.
She says she doesn't know the name of the department.
I ask her how she can forward my problem to them if she doesn't know the name.
She says they can get email.
I ask why can't I call.
She says they can't take calls.
I ask how they can help when they are unnamed and have no telephones.
She says she doesn't know.
I ask her what does she know.
She says she knows they can handle the matter via email.
I ask her how long it'll be before I hear an answer this time.
She says she doesn't know.

I call back and try a different support line.

This guy at least tries to be helpful. He says I should email again since they haven't responded the first time but there's idea when they respond. He adds that they should get to it on Friday *hopefully*. I ask how that helps me since I'm not staying up all night waiting for an email that may or may not come.

Seriously, are all of these companies seriously effed up? Or is it just gofreaking daddy? I'm seriously thinking of telling them where they can stick their domain.
