Ram tough
Well, I bit the bullet and added more ram to the
PowerBook17.
I just added another 512 to max out the ram to
2GB. All is working fine so far. I got my ram at the same place I got the PB and
the original 1GB stick so I'm pretty confident that I won't have problems with
it.
Should help with Photoshop and other multi-tasking needs. Plus, it's nice to see the Free: 1650MB (currently as I write this entry) up on my menu bar (courtesy of Menu Meters). I figured ram is cheaper here in Singapore right now and it's better to get some while the prices were good.
Will update on the performance boost, if any, later on.
