At 40,000 feet

Well, we are nearing the coast of Japan right now as I type this, which is a little surprising as we are going to New York. I'll be honest, I thought we'd cross Europe and the Atlantic. Could we be going across the Pacific and the US instead? Or are we going up to catch the Jet Stream? I dunno. I do know we have about 13 hours left on the flight. Yep, we've only been gone for about 5 hours. I've been working on my book (thank goodness the PB 17 has hot swappable batteries which means I can put it to sleep and changed the battery without having to shut it down and start back up.

Sharon and I are flying Singapore Airlines and its executive economy (I'll post links when I have Internet access). The seats are a little more comfortable but it's not the easiest working environment with the seat in front reclined back. I could use a PowerBook 12-incher right now but I'm making things work just fine nevertheless. Even a 17-inch PowerBook is workable in economy.

On the way back, I'll try and get a seat next to the exits so I have plenty of room in front of me to work on. That should help matters out.

Anyway, I will try and post again later in the flight.
As an aside, I have plans for another Podcast and also to create a new portion of this blog so I can RSS the feed and send it to iTunes Music Store for Podcast availability.

Also, once I get a little breathing room on this book, I'll get back to more regular posts on this blog. Thanks for staying tuned in.

Gotta go now. Want to finish Chapter 4 then nap a bit before I watch a movie (no good selections so I may opt for CSI, then the classics Caddyshack and Dirty Harry before getting back to work on the Spotlight chapter.
