In energy healing, a basic tenet is the greater the power the healer holds, the greater the healing. Power is defined as the amount of electromagnetic energy held in a person’s energy fields. It is one of the effects of spiritual expansion, growth or enlightenment. Creation Reiki increases the power of the practitioner’s energy fields thereby allowing for a greater flow of Reiki.

The name Creation Reiki refers to the combination of the two intentions of modern Reiki and ancient Buddhist Reiki. Ancient Buddhists used Reiki symbols for initiation into the five levels of the mind as it unfolds into enlightenment. They noticed the physically healing effects of these symbols but considered them side effects. Modern Reiki, developed by Mikao Usui, focused on the physical healing effects of the symbols with less emphasis on the spiritual expansion or growth that occurs. Creation Reiki holds both of these intentions equally. Within Creation Reiki it is recognized that physical healing creates spiritual expansion (i.e. enlightenment) while spiritual expansion heals.

One of the unique facets of Creation Reiki is the balanced vortex of energy that a practitioner works in. This is created by combining the two streams of energy or consciousness that makes up the human form—Soul and Nature. As Reiki moves through this vortex the effect is significantly more powerful than in traditional forms. If the reader is already a Usui Reiki Master, giving an attunement while in this balanced vortex of energy will greatly enhance its power. Receiving an attunement while in this balanced vortex of energy does the same. First level Creation Reiki practitioners start at the level of Reiki II practitioners while Reiki II practitioners work at Reiki III levels. The end result are Reiki practitioners who are more effective in their healing treatments and the ability to move in an accelerated way through all three levels of Reiki. When working with Creation Reiki with its emphasis on balancing Nature and Soul Consciousness we create a strong electromagnetic field for protection, regeneration, and vitalization. Not just healing but vital well-being on all levels.

In traditional forms of Reiki, a Reiki Master attunes or initiates a practitioner to one of three levels by opening energy channels using the breath. Perhaps one of the most exciting elements of Creation Reiki is the self-attunement process that allows the reader to be attuned directly by the Reiki Guardians. Developed in the format of an alchemical or healing meditation, the Creation Reiki attunement is a powerful experience.

The intent is not to replace the traditional form of attunement, which is wonderful both to give and to receive, but to get beyond certain limitations that have been built into the oral tradition of Usui Reiki. Not everyone has access to a great Reiki Master. In third world countries that are still healing after centuries of Western colonization, Reiki is a self-empowerment tool that supports bringing forth ancient and almost lost healing arts. Traditional Reiki Masters in these areas still following the guidelines as set by Hawayo Takata are prohibiting Reiki from all but a very few with exorbitant fees of US $10,000 for Reiki III levels. Creation Reiki offers balance to many inbalances in Reiki found not only in these countries but the United States as well. Through offering a self-attunement process in this book, the intention is to honor Master Usui who was himself self-attuned.

Along with the self-attunement process and working within a balanced vortex of energy, Creation Reiki uses the Reiki symbols in pairs and in chambers creating exciting new possibilities for their use. It also uses Raku, a symbol traditionally used in attunements only, for opening portals and stargates.

Currently the vibration of the planet is very different than it used to be. In former times of greater denseness on the planet, to connect to our souls in a more powerful way, we had to move up and out of our bodies.
