Bankruptcy Consultation
Just Knowing Your Options
Can Bring Relief
The thought of filing bankruptcy is often
so unpleasant that many people avoid even exploring
their options. That’s unfortunate, because just
knowing what solutions are available is often a huge
mental relief. Almost immediately, our prospective
clients feel better about their situation because they
know they have choices.
For most of our clients, this is the
first time they have hired an attorney. We want to
help by exploring your unique situation and then
explaining the different options available to you.
Without pressure or deadlines, then you can make the
choices that will improve your situation and ease your
stress.
We offer a free 45-minute consultation
to review your financial situation, and there is no
obligation to hire us as to handle your bankruptcy. We
know how hard it is to take time off from work. If you
can not meet during business hours, we can see you
either in the evening or on Saturdays.
The consultation is your opportunity
to ask questions about bankruptcy,
how it can help you and how you can recover from it in the future. We
are here to provide you with sound advice that includes reestablishing
your credit after bankruptcy.
During the consultation you will
want to have as much of your financial information that
we will need to give you sound advice. This includes:
You will need to bring the following to
your appointment:
-
Most recent pay stubs
if you are working.
-
Your last two years
tax returns.
-
A budget for yourself
and your family (i.e., pay stubs and a list of your
monthly living expenses). Download our simple
budget form
for help with this.

A list of your debts
and credit accounts.
-
A list of assets you
own, including any real estate in your name,
vehicles, bank accounts, retirement accounts and
personal property items.

you own a house, and any foreclosure papers the bank
may have sent you.
