| Lulu's tealuxe is a tea shop in Harvard Square (I live in Cambridge). This painting is a view from my favorite table. On the left you can see the door to Brattle street. On the right is the register booth where they take your order. The center of the image is a waitress bringing you a pot of tea. She's actually based on a patron I saw there one evening, not a real waitress. This is the latest in a series of works on this theme. |
