TORAH PODCASTING NETWORK REACHES ITS FIFTH CONTINENT!
I am grateful that so many people are enjoying my podcast all around the world. I have received emails from the United States, England, Argentina, Israel, Italy and Australia. I am also pleased that non-Jews as well as Jews are tuning in.
Since its launch date earlier this year, there have been over 643 hits to this information site, and that doesn't count the people who listen to the podcast without clicking on the website link. So again, thank you to all my listeners!
Why did I create this podcast? That's an easy one - I love teaching Torah and love playing with computers. It's sort of like Reese's Peanut Butter Cups - two great tastes that taste great together.
TORAH PODCASTING NETWORK GOES TO VIDEO
When Apple introduced its video-enabled iPod earlier this month, doing a video podcast suddenly made sense. The MPEG-4 format allows me to post high quality video - even on a full screen - without huge file sizes. Also, Apple gave its .Mac members a gift of more server space, so I can now post video files without worrying about how much memory I have left on the server.
PLEASE DONATE (unless you're one of my congregants!)
Your voluntary donations help me create this podcast. Torah is free. Podcasting, unfortunately, is not. Your generous donations help me purchase the space, software and equipment I need to make an educational and visually attractive program.
The link below will send you to PrayerPassport.com, where you can donate to the Torah Podcasting Network. You can also purchase DVD Davening, a video production that uses technology to teach the Kabbalat Shabbat service.
If you have enjoyed my podcast, please donate and help me teach more Torah. Thank you!
