Mon - August 20, 2007Tag, Your it!Well before I can post the rest of Synda
& Alex's portraits seems I've been tagged by my two photographer friends
Jill
Higgins and Amy Martin . From what I've been told I have to
tell at least eight things you may not know about me and then tag other bloggers
to do the same.
#8 I love chocolate But really who doesn't and if you don't why not? #7 I wanted to be a jockey I went to college as a pre-vet student. I worked and lived on a horse farm while there. I loved horses and still do, even though one broke my foot last year. I thought I wanted to be smart and heal animals but found out having a good time was just way more fun than studying. Now I'm happy just living here on our farm watching the cows graze and my doggies chase the Fed Ex man. #6 Film I love old cameras. And I still like to shoot film on occasion #5 Stormy Weather When a storm is a comin your more likely to find me sitting on my front porch watching the lighting. But only after I have safely unplugged every electrical thing in my house. #4 Gotta Brusha Brusha Brusha! In college my dentist told me to stop brushing my teeth. So I can get a little obsessive with brushing my teeth. I love to brush and have at times brushed them over eight times a day. But I wouldn't exactly call that over board. :) #3 I'm a salty dog at heart In other words I really love the ocean and the especially the salt marshes of SC and GA. Some of my happiest memories are of me and Todd cruising the marsh in our Key West boat headed to our favorite "shrimping hole". And yes we actually cast a huge net and catch enough shrimp for supper even though some times it might be a shrimp cocktail. #2 I'm a twin I have a twin sister. We don't look that much a like but it still amazes us that people get us confused. #1 Canoeing in little blue My husband and I love to canoe so as a surprise last year he bought us a blue canoe. Blue is my favorite color so it was only fitting to do one of my favorite things, canoeing in a blue canoe! okay so the luck folks who get tagged are: Amanda Kraft: http://homepage.mac.com/amandakraft/iblog/ Ben Vigil: http://www.benvigil.com/news/ Clark Berry: http://clarkberry.typepad.com/clarksblog/ Tracy Turpen: http://tracyturpenweddings.com/blog/ Jenna Walker: http://homepage.mac.com/jennawalker1/iblog/ Posted at 12:08 AM Read More Sat - April 7, 2007Two new sites!!Well they are finally here!
After lots of promising I've finally got the new wedding and portrait site up
and running. Now I still have tons of images to add to them both, but the
excitement of getting them live was much to strong. So go check them out, I'd
love to hear what you think of them. Hey and keep an eye out on them, as I said
I still have lots of pictures to add. By the way have you noticed along with the
new sites I've got a new logo. You've probably seen it popping up here on the
blog along with the whole new color scheme. I hired a great graphic designer,
Lindsay Powell with Stump Powell Design to help me with the whole new look.

Christmas you saw the family portrait of Todd and I with our three boys (our
dogs) Chaw, Tumor and Joe.
Well While we were away skiing at Christmas, Tumor some how met up with a vehicle and found they can do damage to little dogs. So Tumor now has cast on his leg, which he managed to yank off last night. Much to Tumor's dismay, this morning I carted him off first thing to visit Dr. Orr. Now we're home with a new cast and an unhappy puppy :)
He finally broke my heart so I took the Halo off but he still has the pity part down. I just love the sunny disposition of the smiley faces on his cast. Posted at 03:38 PM Read More Sun - October 29, 2006Cabo San lucasIt has been a long time since my
husband and I took a break from work and life in general and just took a
vacation. So we took a week off and headed to Cabo San Lucas for a little
R&R. While there I got the chance to photograph my awesome brother, Dan and
his amazing wife, Denise. We had a blast to walking around the Hacienda Del Mar
resort finding little venues to take pictures. Here are just a few of my
favorites!
Sunrise our last morning at the pool.
