DL/SL7 show with the song circle reunion!
Thursday, Oct 27th, David Levin/SL7 are playing
O'Gara's Garage in St Paul. We're always excited to play at O'Gara's, but the
big news for this show is The Song Circle reunion with its original line-up.
For those of you who don't know, The Song Circle is an acoustic, singer-songwriter-in-the-round group that I co-founded back in 1997. The original line-up was me, Rick Barron and Tim Snow, with David Barry on guitar. (One of the reasons we're able to have this show is that Dave's home for awile. He spent the last three years on the road in Cher's band.) We played exclusively at O'Gara's back then and it's especially cool to be back there for this one-time show.
This will be a real treat for Song Circle fans. It'll be great for Tim Snow fans too because he plays his own stuff so rarely lately. And personally, I'm looking forward to playing tunes I don't get to play with SL7. And of course, let's not forget the rocking SL7 show to follow.
So it should be a great night. Hope to see you there.
