Collection of the Smithsonian Institution - 1997 Medium: Adobe Photoshop, version 5.5. Size of the original is approximately 8.5x11 inches at 300ppi. One of a continuing series of scientific illustrations, created in Photoshop to support the research of Dr. Terry L. Erwin of the Department of Entomology, National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institution. Note: This illustration was rendered in Adobe Photoshop (Is there anything else?). The process was the same as that used for Agra championi. By this time not only did I have a pressure sensitive tablet to aid in the rendering, I had a considerable amount of experience with the tools in Photoshop which made the process much simpler as I could instinctively determine what tool or filter I needed to use next. This drawing took approximately 30 hours.
