Wow....I was so moved by the poem [A Real Inuk by Eva Obed]  in The Fan Hitch...it is what the whole dog running thing is about...feeling a connection.
Bravo!

Subject: the random reader

Hi,

I'm just a random reader who noticed your editorial from June 2004, "Who are you and what do you want?"  In short, I'm a non-dog owning California suburbanite who has had a long interest in all things polar, especially Inuit. I stumbled upon The Fan Hitch while trying to find information about Qitdlarssuaq - I eventually ponied up the cash for Guy Mary-Rouselliere's book (worth every penny).

Anyways, keep up the good work.

April 15, 2007

I ran across The Fan Hitch newsletter while surfing the web for some other info. I own and love Alaskan Malamutes and am active in rescue for them. I have had the pleasure of rescuing two (what I was told) ISDs in the last 3 years, both of them older males who found good working homes to live their lives in.

I will be continuing to visit and read The Fan Hitch. I found it very interesting and informative.

Sincerely,
Luana
