TVO BBQ
Hey all, Id like to thank everyone who came to
our show, you guys were great, especially during the clap during rainforest
café song. I think our performance could have been better, it was a little
sketchy, but it was our first show the whole summer so I think we will be better
for the scene show. A few mess ups here and there but it was fun. I think maybe
we got more concerned about stage appearance than our music, which we will work
on. But I look back and I think everyone had fun and I hope everyone enjoyed it,
you guys are amazing for coming and supporting us. We have a lot of work to do
and every show is a lesson for us. We will see you all September 3rd
at the scene, thank you again for
coming. jepplar P.S. if
you guys have any pics, please send them to us ASAP so we can put them up
on our site so everyone can check them out.

Ups and Downs of Practice
Yo Jepplar speaking, I haven’t posted in
awhile so I thought id give an update. Today’s practice started good,
ended on a bad note though. We played rainforest café (amazing song your
all gonna bleed from your ears when you hear it) but AJ wasn’t there to do
his part so it sounded unfinished. We also pretty much finished rain song which
is really hott, still we need AJ. We set up Christmas lights and all kinds of
lights in petie’s garage and jammed for awhile. The we tried to write our
new song but we all were too tired for the 15 chord chorus that luis wrote but
w/e, I know it sounds good in his head so it will sound good when we do it. Im
out.

New Recording
Yo its Jepplar speaking to our imaginary fan
base. Practice was ok today, we recorded taken away and it sounds sexy as hell
because its at the right speed now. Whoo!! We were gonna play at a relay for
life tonight but it was too early and we were just to lazy. I felt honored today
because we played the Jepplar jig for Lindsay and Mia and they loved it, so I
felt good. Anywayz, that’s just a little update for whoever has no life
and actually looks at our page. Id like to give a shout out to a good friend of
mine The Tall One, you know who you are.

New Graphic and a slowly evolving band...
Yo its Jepplar speaking. I haven’t posted
anything in awhile so I thought I would inform our imaginary fan base with some
current news. We have currently reached 10 songs!!!! Only about 6 of them are
finished but the other 4 are on their way. A lot of people told us we needed
some more upbeat stuff so that’s what you’re going to get. Our newer
songs are pretty upbeat, especially the wammi song, your gonna love luis and his
wammi pedal after you hear it. I really feel the band is coming along great, we
have been having a lot of slow time and some arguments, but were getting past
that now. Hopefully we can get these songs recorded and get a CD out for
everyone, then have a big show. Anywayz, I’m out for now, hope you all
enjoy my newest graphic of the tree in the
water.

Ovation Response
Well Ovation is over and done with. I and not
to happy with the outcome of it either. We worked really hard and we really
excited for the show for it to come out as it did. The one thing I hate doing is
not using our own equipment. We had to use marshal half stacks that we
didn’t know how to use. Well I get the good one but Luis gets the one
where the distortion wouldn’t work. I was pissed because Luis is amazing
at guitar and people couldn’t hear him, and we had to waste time trying to
fix the amp which cut out our playing
time.
Ovation is full of douche bags.
I also felt bad because so many people came to watch us and we performed so
awful cuz we were so mad. We still got a great crowd response and had people
skanking during taken away which surprised me. We only played 4 songs. Anyways,
the D song was new but I think we rushed into playing it, we need to perfect it
like taken away, complete, and drowning, but that takes time. I really think we
could have won that because were so much different then every other band. All
the bands sounded the same and that’s the problem with music nowadays but
it’s also what gets bands signed. I think the band is really coming
together now.
We were having a lot
of problems before but I think now after that show and listening to other bands
we realized that if we make it, we could actually be a band that revolutionizes
music. At the show I was pissed off, but I started feeling better when a lot of
people told me they liked the song I wrote “The Kepplar Jig”. The
song is so fun to play and I think it has a really good beat which people like.
The rap part was the best and I think it showed that we don’t really have
a sound, that we just can combine everything and do what works for us and people
like that. Anywayz, I’m out for now. Thanks to everyone who came to the
show and supported us b4 and after it, you guys are amazing. I wish the
performance could have been better but things happen. Marshal sucks, Line 6 owns
you!!!!!!!

Great Show
Werd up to all, its Mr. Kepplar speaking. This
weekend was great as Petie said. Friday’s mic night went awesome. We did
it up with 5 songs and taken away sounded amazing. Even though luis hit one of
the ugliest chords I have ever heard during drowning lol, he is still the
captain. Our dedicated fan didn’t go to the show which was disappointing,
you know who you are! The captain and I heard the best song ever this weekend,
it’s called numa numa, it’s in like dutch, its like some dance
techno song. Says words like hyduke and sespoon which we haven’t found the
meaning to as of yet. So we downloaded it at petie’s house and jammed to
it non stop.
I had to sleep at
Captains house Friday and Saturday cuz mi parentals were gone and they
don’t trust me to lock up the house or w/e. Sunday was Jame’s party,
was pretty cool. Saw is kind of boring when its 2nd time seeing it. But it was
fun anyways. After that luis was jamming on mi guitara, he is exactly like steve
vai, except for he is luis cordova. We have 2 new song ideas that we are working
on, we just have to finish them hopefully b4 ovation. We need to balance out our
songs b/c we have to many slow songs, they might be sexy as hell but they
don’t get the crowd moving. Hopefully these will.
I had some trouble with the D song
b/c the timing is unknown to all human kind, but I figured out just to listen to
the bass and u will feel it. Drums need alittle work though b/c this song is
really hard to make a drum beat to. Anywayz, there is alittle update for the
fans if we have any, peace.

I'm Pissed
Well I thought Id give a little update for the
fans, that is, if we have any. We are not looking to well for ovation, we only
have 3 songs we know and the rest need lots of work. This weekend doesn’t
look good for practice because people have concerts to go to and apparently
concerts are more important than band practice. We drove to Cypress today for
the talent show auditions. Well as were about to set up, the lady says 75% of
the band has to go to the school. Well only petie attends there so we
couldn’t play. But there was nothing on the Flier that said that.
Another band and us went to some
dude who we thought was all high in power and told him the situation, he went
and talked to the lady and said that he agrees with her but he will let us play
at the audition but it won’t mean anything. So we go in and let the other
band go first cuz were nice like that. They played and were ok, keyboard kid was
good. Anyways we go to set up and she is like no I have a meeting so u cant
play. Petie gets mad and starts talking back.
She keeps saying there is no one
here so ur playing for no one and u cant play the show so there is no use. Petie
gets really mad and starts saying no one told him 75% had to go to the school.
Anyways, she said if she finds the guy who said we could play then she would let
us play. We walked put pissed at petie screams thank you for wasting our time.
If he would have said bitch at the end, it would have gave it that much more
feeling to it. Whatever, when we make it big and she asks us to play at the
school, we are gonna take her back on alittle journey to today and give her the
answer. I’m out

Crazy Practice
Yo Kepplar speaking here. Today we had
practice, bobby couldn’t make it but everyone else showed up. I was late
cuz of an emergency at my aunts but its cool now. Anyways, practice went pretty
smooth. Our newest song is pretty cool, I really like it, Petie just needs to
find the melody to it. I’m pist off cuz I have to reset my amp modes cuz
little rios messed with them, damn u! Its ok I’ll fix it. We also worked
on the Captains crazy ass song. Its insane! I really didn’t like it at
first, but I wrote one part to it and learned the rest and its pretty cool now.
I still wanna see how its sounds
with everything in it. Good luck to the hero with making up lyrics with that
one. Anyways Saturday is gonna be hardwork. Were gonna finish up our two songs,
and rerecord taken away cuz its like 50 times faster than it should be. Luis
wrote a new amazing solo for it, good job captain. Were also gonna work on back
up vocals for our songs, backup can make all the difference. We gotta plan it
out cuz people just start singing whenever they want and that’s not how it
should work. Overall we have a lot to do if we want to even think about doing
good at ovation. I’m out for now, later.

Stepping It Up
Yo it’s Kepplar speaking. Mondays always
suck, especially when you’re sick at home all day. Anyways, I didn’t
see any new posts today so I decided to post. Practice on Wednesday I believe.
We really gotta start picking it up and putting 150% into our stuff because we
can either do well at ovation, or ruin our chances forever. Our new song is sic
as hell and I actually wrote my own part to it. I figured out that if I know
what The Captain plays, since I’m rhythm, Ill just play the chords to it.
Sounds easy but the Captain is crazy, he does that stuff that he does you know.
I’ve been practicing our songs at my house so that I get flawless at them
because I need to step it up. Anyways, thanks to anyone who left feedback.
I’m out.

Kepplar Speaks
It’s Mr. Kepplar speaking here. Practice
was ok yesterday, only 3 people were there. Rios had to go home due to bad grade
in school, school is so outplayed. But it helped me because I know our newest
song (which kicks ass). Another once in a life time event occurred; I corrected
The Captain in a timing thing which I suck at. I’m surprised I’m
still alive after that. I love you Captain but you can’t yell at me now
because I knizow my pizzart. Great weekend it was. Met some cool people at the
two shows we had. The show at AMHS was pretty good; I was out of tune in one
song and had to take a moment to fix that. When the countdown to taken away
started, The Captain forgot to start, but it was ok, we started the next time
through.
Crespo (R.I.P) was funny as
always at the show. He broke out the scissors dance, was INSANE!!!! Shout out to
Ronnie Michaels!!!!! Roberto had on his classic cowboy hat, good stuff. The show
at LD’s party was iffy. I was bothered by some things like little Rios
resetting my amp modes. But it was an ok show. The bounce house was the best
part of the party. Thing was great, I’m still hurting. Kris Cocomomechio
was sporting his skin tight spider man costume with fast action invisible web
spray. The Cap-tain rolled off the rock wall and landed on his neck which I
found hilarious. Sorry for kicking you during my front flip. Overall, good
shows, great weekend. Mr. Kepplaaaaaaaaar.
