After four very interesting years in a multinational enterprise i decided to check my personal position and perspectives before getting the next job.

That was not too complicated as there very a lot of people that were happy to hear that i am availiable to take interim positions in their respective organisation.

These positions were either in the area of sales or knowledge management consulting.

Joint a great group of people who develop impressive products. We became a 100% bertelsmann company in 2001.

Sell these products to high level customers like Bertelsmann, Otto Versand group, Neckermann, DPAG and many others.

Received the "empolis award for excellence" in 2002 for "extraordinary achievements" in the sales department.
Something that could not have happened without a great team!

Apart from my position as a "business segment manager" i did take care of a number of partners in germany and europe.

In pursuit of a new challenge i left empolis in late 2004.

During that time we won customers like R&V Versicherung or the PKV Konsortium (Group of private insurance companies).

Started as a freelancer with implementation and consulting services. After several projects for customers like RWE, Dornier, RS Wuppertal and Hoechst i changed my business focus.

My company became on of the five major sellers of ACORN Archimedes RISC Workstations in germany. In addition to that we managed more than 12 distributions of third party suppliers (Iota Software, Computer Concepts and more). Focus during that time has had been DTP Systems,CGI and SMB/SoHo.

I worked (inter)nationally throughout the time.
