Guidelines
- Please treat the iLeader and the camera as you would a nice G4 ti laptop. The people after you should get him in the same condition as you recieved it. Please no inserting him into body orifices etc, no disfiguring or mutilations.
- He is on a mission for good and promoting Macs and having fun. This is a community project so please make images in good taste. I would like to keep this at a pg-13 rating so we can display all the pics so I am dependimg on the civility of the participants. The mini iLeader should have a good diposition, he is helpful yet has fun. He is not out to put people down or destroy things. It is a work/project of humor art' humor is exempt from copyright law, such as any logos or copyrighted material, ie the dolls and accessories themselves.
- He is shipping the Olympus D-380 iphoto compatible camera with the mini iLeader. Some of you have expressed interest and have your own camera, but I want the project to use the same camera so no one feels disdvantaged.
- Use of iPhoto and OSX is encouraged but I included the OS9 driver disc. I personally like both platforms so no fighting over which is better. iPhoto just makes the process a bit quicker. Please use a Mac, this is not a PC project, it is the DealMac project ;-D. Real situations only please. No alterrations in photoshop or image manipulations that would put him in a place that he actually was not.
- We will use the same .mac account. He will come with the account info so images can be posted to .Mac and that person will Host Made With Mac the Monday they ship mini iLeader out.
- The mini iLeader is in your posession for 1 week. 2 weeks will take too long. So if someone ships him to you on Monday via postal priority mail you should get him by wed. or thur. giving you 3-4 days to take pics. If you are going to a special event like Macworld or taking a trip to Cupertino then extensions will be considered.
- There will be some cost involved and it will vary if the camera runs out of batteries and how far it needs to be shipped to the next participant. I estimate a turn will cost approximately $10.
- This is not a DealMac sponsored project and does not neccessarily reflect the opinons of the management. Although I have no safeguard from someone ripping me off I do have this one thought. You are willing to rip off not only me but all Dealmac forum members then you will have to live with yourself knowing you sold us and your karma all out for a cheap camera.
