Each session was designed to model a One to One classroom. Teachers engaged in project-based, student-centered activities.

Learning right along with the students. In fact, we learned quite a bit from each other.

The Collaborative One to One Conference for  K-12 Professionals

Memphis, Tennessee         July 19-21, 2009

This was a wonderful conference. I presented a session focused on some of the findings we've had in our One to One initiatives in the Northeast. I sat in on several great presentations from leaders who have been implementing One to One in their schools for more than a decade. I learned a lot from their experiences, especially their mistakes. I appreciate it when folks share their failures as well as their successes. This is definitely a conference to put on the calendar for next year.

leadership summit

The NYSCATE Leadership Summit held this July was an excellent forum for a low-key; but high-powered learning experience and conversation about the future of technology in our schools. Thanks to Chris Nelson and Guy Lodico for making this such a great event.
