Grrr Tiger Claw

Sören got very interested to hear that Apple was selling Tigers today. We decided to run by the Apple Store and check out the chaos. And it was chaotic. We waited for 25 minutes before we could even get in the store. We took next-door-neighbor Russell with us, who was a stool for Ms Pope. She got him to commit to prevent me from spending more than $10 on anything in exchange for dinner. Hmmm. Luckily, I already had a copy of Tiger, and my list of tech goodies I want is pretty long...
For the record, it is:
- iPod mini, green, for Sören
- iSight
- iMac G5, 20"
- AirPort Express

We didn't buy anything, and Sören and Russ and I headed over to the Green Muse after about an hour of geeking for frappes and steamers.

Tiger is cool. I can't use the multi-person video chat feature, at least I can't initiate one, because I need a G5 or dual-G4. And that ain't happening on my trusty PowerBook. Spotlight is cool, but will be cooler if Eudora provides a plug-in so I can search its emails. I am not ready to move off of it yet. I love that app, and I have never gotten used to Mail.app. But of course, I am still waiting for them to give up on their own address book and hook up to Apple's.
Dashboard is beautiful, but I bet I use it once a week.
